Whack-A-Ghoul off near The Batting Cage.
Ev'ry body is dead so you can't tell their age.
Human can-nonball is the lat-est rage
ON BONEY ISLAND.
Fortuneteller looks in the crystal ball.
Just how does- he know? He's a know-it-all.
All dem bones in the trees, someone's going to fall
ON BONEY ISLAND.

Happy Horrorween !!!

Halloween, 2011:
Looks like Boney Island has magically come back alive !!

In the span of two years, neighboring Sherman Oaks & Studio City,
CA, lost two of their most revered haunts:

Halloween, 2007:
The Simpsons'  animation producer  Rick Polizzi's  Boney Island
was laid to rest after a scary run of 10 years.
The 120+ skeletons hanging from the trees & house,
& most of the props & gear were auctioned off on eBay.
Rick would begin preparations for the event each June or July.
Mick Terry  helped Rick with the set-up for the final few years.
The look on most visitors' faces was one of laughter & fun.

Halloween, 2005:
The look on most visitors' faces to the
Hallowed Haunting Grounds was one of awe & reverent appreciation
up until its passing after 33 years.
