LACK ATTACK

CHORUS:
I'm caught in the middle of a lack attack.
All my checks have come back,
with every last one of them bouncing.
Every payment's past due.
All my credit is screwed.
And I'm not sure how long I'll have housing.
1A: If I'd owned any stocks, they would all be in hock.
And any bonds would be quickly placed on me.
Every one of my banks wants me placed in the tank.
And my mom says she always had warned me.
1B: I'm learning more all the time: I used to think that R9
was a very light grade insulation.
But the more that I learn, seems the less I have earned
and it adds up to more than frustration.
CHORUS:
2A: My lawyer says that my ex- has now brewed her worst hex
and is suing for figures most awesome.
She's determined to drain and to permanently maim
the one who helped her become so accustomed.
BRIDGE:
I am buried in bills,
but not the buffalo kind,
although it smells like the stuff
that those might leave behind.
3A: There's a man at my door, says I've got to pay more.
And now the IRS is eager to see me.
Now my car's repossessed. Everybody's obsessed
with seeing how fast they can leave me.
3B: Now it seems that my friends have decided to end
our relationship, denying they know me.
Quite a magical act. I doubt they'll ever come back,
especially the ones that still owe me.
