1: There I was, just stretched- out- flat,
catching rays, trying hard to relax
on a blue chaise lounge under palms out by the pool,
when a goddess float-ed by.
My eyes were shut, but she caught- my eye,
caught my heart, & I caught my breath, but she took- my soul.

Couldn't let this- goddess retreat

threw me down into water like ice.
As I sank, I was praying she'd missed what had just- occurred.
