Mama Rat give him that evil eye:

Second day out and the engine break.
Cap'n, he flag down a boat.
Hitching a ride for our goodness sake,
Cap'n, he leave us afloat.

Choc'late and peanuts and sardine cans,
only three days 'til they gone.
Day Number Five and the older men
dropping off one after one.
Coconut floating and all do share,
each of us getting a bite.
None of us living on more than prayer.
Some of us dying each night.
