The seven words you can't say on TV
don't have as much weight as they did before.
It seems like they have dropped to four or just three.
You hear them each day, more and more and more.

The first refers to waste: "Ship High In Transit".
Now, that's a big mess. That's a "dirty word".
The next is much the same, that guys can shoot and miss.
Both natural acts, but they're full of germs.

    ASS IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD.
    Mother-something is one, too.
    Bitch seems to have one too many,
    while tit, one too few.
    ASS IS A FOUR-LETTER WORD.
    Education's going to Hell.
    If we can't even teach our kids to count,
    how the Hell will they ever learn to spell?

The third- word means love, the making of it.
Just how did that get to be so reviled
to be among the worst topping that list?
So guttural, base, so profane and vile?

I always thought the fourth was furry & soft.
The only thing rank may have been the smell.
The image of the fifth could be a bit rough.
The sixth repeats the third, far as I can tell.

    CHORUS

        Bad- words. Dirty words. Something like:
        Hit, miss, fun, hunt, block structure, mother-trucker, pits.

        But you can say

        If society'd never made those words taboo,
        they wouldn't be so popular now, for sure.
        Bad- words. Dirty words.

But "tits" does not belong there on that list.
It's such a nice word, ever friendly and fun.
